Jill's trip to NYC and more remodeling

The first weekend of June, I met my dear friend Meg in NYC for a girl's weekend. We had an awesome time (once I finally arrived after nearly crashing!) and I fell in love with the city (despite the rain). I can't wait to go back!

Here are Meg and I taking the bicycle cab back to our hotel after "Rent". The poor guy biked us about 2 miles in a drizzle, and then probably had to go back to Broadway to get any other business! It was a great way to travel...you can see the sights at a slower pace and it's seemed much safer than a cab ride!

Central Park

The NYFD...on our visit to Central Park, we "ran into" an Israel parade for Israel's 58th Anniversary of Independence. It was really interesting! We were able to see Hilary Clinton start the parade.
This is the before picture of our foyer and hallway...yuck!
And this is the after!!! Adam did an awesome job putting down a sub floor and this porcelain tile...all by himself! It makes the hallway much brighter! When we redo the kitchen, we will continue this floor into the kitchen and bathroom.
