Here is the before photo of the baby's room...

And here is the after. Adam painted it a pale shade of yellow, called "Cuddle" (how appropriate!). The plan is to put wainscotting on the bottom third, too. He also added a ceiling fan. He is now a wiring expert! He had to completely install everything; there wasn't an overhead light in there or anything! The tough part was putting the light and fan on a dimmer/adjustable speed switch! He did a great job!

As promised, a photo of Carley. She comes up from the basement once in awhile now, when Brew's outside or sleeping. Here she is enjoying a beautiful day in Columbus in late November!

Here is Adam, ready to enjoy the Thanksgiving feast he prepared for us. He's an awesome cook... I am VERY lucky to have him!! Unfortunately I had to work that day, but it was still a great evening!

And here is the belly photo. Saturday night I went to put on my favorite jeans and guess what, they didn't fit!! There was no buttoning those suckers! My belly just popped overnight. (Or maybe it was Adam's Thanksgiving feast that did it?!) So, it looks like it's time for some new clothes!
(An aside to my fashion-conscious friends...No, those aren't pants that I wear outside my house...they're my pjs! :)

I'm now at 18 weeks and I've officially gained 1 pound. According to my favorite pregnancy book, the baby is about 6 inches long and 5.5 -6 oz. Little Bean is able to hear loud noises and detect bright light when it's shone at my belly. Amazing! In 2 weeks I'll have my "big" ultrasound, which will include lots of pictures for everyone to see!
