Our dear friends Kate and Brian hosted a baby shower for Adam, Little Bean, and I on April 18th. A HUGE thank you to everyone. We had a great time and really appreciate all the wonderful gifts. Little Bean is very loved and off to a great start!! Here is one of the group photos.

Our "growth check" ultrasound to measure the baby was today. Here are the baby's puckered lips and nose... He or she is measuring about 7-7.5 lbs. A good, solid weight. There will be no change in the due date...still 2 weeks away! The heart rate was about 156. I am still just 1 cm dilated, but 50% effaced. (We're getting there!)
A profile shot. The bright white around the head is hair!! The baby was making lots of movement with it's mouth, sticking out it's tongue, sort of like it was drinking.

So, everything is just fine. We just can't wait to see this little sweetie pie out in the world! I must admit, though, I think I might miss being pregnant. But I know we're going to LOVE being parents!

Your baby is so beautiful and very much loved! We are praying that the next couple weeks go by smoothly for you all. Our children are so excited for Little Bean to come into the world.

What a great group for a shower, looks like everyone had fun. I can't wait to see bean in that white outfit and the blanket. Thomas is really getting big. I want Bean to come out and play with me though. Hurry up Bean! Love Grandma W
The ultrasound pictures are absolutely stunning...and all that hair! How cool! You truly are glowing, Jill, and I know that both you and Adam are going to be amazing parents. The hardest thing during the next few weeks will be the waiting--for the happy, healthy new member of the family! Love, Kim
