Hello! No pictures this time, just an update. I went to the OB on Tuesday for a mini check-up, and the NP checked the fetal heart tones. It took a while to find the heart beat, which was making me nervous, but she eventually found them. The heart rate was 160 bpm, going strong!! I am now over 13 weeks. I haven't noticed much of a bump yet, but my pants are fitting differently around the waist. I'm still down a few pounds compared to before I was pregnant, but that's quite all right at this point. The nausea continues, but it's definitely letting up. I'm afraid to take off my Sea Bands because they worked so well for a few days and I'm afraid that if I take them off, the nausea will knock me on my butt. I'll just play it safe and wear them for right now!
I am still in grad school in the Adult Health Nurse Practitioner program, with an HIV/Oncology focus. I met with my advisor last week and I will not graduate any later than before (still June of 2009, if I stay on the current track). I will be off the spring quarter, then my summer and fall quarter classes are online, so I won't even need to go to campus until January! I'm excited that it doesn't set me back at all, but it wouldn't have mattered. We'll see if I can stay on track!
Take care everyone and keep checking the blog every few weeks. We'll keep it updated!
