On the left is the back of Versailles looking up from the top of the hill, on the right is a picture looking down the hill. The white area in the background is actually a big lake/pond. Versailles is an enormous complex where French royalty lived, like King Louis XIV. It is amazing! (Wear your walking shoes!

)To the left is a picture of one of the gardens. The landscaping is immaculate. Adam really loved all the symmetry!
The Eiffel Tower at night. Beginning at 8 pm, every hour on the hour it sparkles like this for 10 minutes. It is breathtaking and a must-see while in Paris!
The Hotel de Invalides at night. Napoleon is buried on the grounds. It used to be a military hospital, and now we think it is for government use. (Our hotel was 1 block from here.)
The view of the Arc de Triumph from the Eiffel Tower. We went to the very top of the tower and were so lucky that it happened to be a perfectly clear day. As you can see, the view is incredible!
